  9. The editor of an angling magazine once told me that the average
  10. quality of pictures that he recieved from the public was
  11. terrible. The chances of a good quality picture, with some
  12. explanation, being published, and PAID for, was very good indeed.

  14. Believe me, this is true of many specialist publications. If you
  15. have an interest, such as horses, dogs, fishing etc. - there may 
  16. well be a sale for your pictures. Study some of the magazines.
